¨To build something really great, build a great team.”

Mrugrajsinh Vansadia

That quote from our Product Lead, Mrugrajsinh Vansadia is the perfect example of Mrugrajsinh´s leadership style. The Eclat family is not about one singular person, but rather a team made up of many great members. Mrugrajsinh in his role as a product leader, on top of being involved in the day-to-day development and implementation of MyLOFT, has strived to build a great team to ensure the success of MyLOFT. In the next few months, as we get to know this amazing team of developers and support staff, it only seemed fitting to get to know one of the people who work to lead this great team together. Meet Mrugrajsinh Vansadia, MyLOFT Product Lead at Eclat Engineering.

How long have you been working at Eclat Engineering?
4+ years

What does your job entail?
My Role is Product Lead. My primary responsibility is to drive the product development of MyLOFT. It includes identifying features and prioritizing them, roadmap planning, driving the team to deliver what is planned, providing assistance to the team for any technical issues, architecture design, and concept design. Additionally, I am closely involved in the development of Backend and iOS technologies.

What do you like most about your job?
Collectively as a team, Solving the User’s Pain Point with the help of technology and when it happens, the moment of satisfaction users get with whatever we built, gives me more satisfaction.

What brought you to Eclat Engineering?
For a very long time, I wanted to work on tech-enabled products from domains such as EdTech, Entertainment, Healthcare, or something which is B2C. So, here at Eclat, both our products are somewhere linked to the education industry and it is solving some real problems with the SaaS offerings so, that’s how I decided to join Eclat. It was an opportunity for me to explore the product development cycle right from the very inception till the delivery and then its growth.

What is the best career lesson you´ve learned so far?
Oh, I learned a lot of lessons. But, from the product perspective, if I have to choose one then it would be; Talk to people (end-users) to understand the problem, make sure that whatever you are building is gonna help them, and whether they are willing to pay for the solution. Use MVP (minimum viable product) to understand what they exactly need before jumping on the full-fledged developed product or the feature.

Another important lesson I learned is that, To build something really great, build a great team.

What do you like the most about Eclat?
1. My Team
2. Experienced Seniors and Mentor
3. Culture

How has the experience been working remotely with the Eclat team?
For me, It’s normal. In the past I have worked remotely for a very long time so, It is not very difficult for me. However, sometimes I miss that office atmosphere where the whole team is right under the same roof, collaborating for the next releases.

What are your thoughts on the products that Eclat offers?
MyLOFT and RemoteXs, both solve very niche problems of library patrons. They sit between the Publisher and the Institute to provide a seamless experience of content access. Especially the MyLOFT, which involves a lot of other features that make a patron’s life easier by offering single platform for the content consumption workflow of any reader/content consumer i.e. Discover & Access, Save & organize, and Read & Share.

What do you like to do when you are not working?
I like to spend time with my family or friends, apart from that I love music and in my leisure time I mostly end up working on some Music Projects.

What is a fun fact about you that many people may not know?
If I had not become a computer engineer, I might have joined either the Music or Animation industry. Some of the team members might already be aware but, Because of my interest in the music and entertainment industry, sometimes, I still do Music production, Lyrics writing, Singing, Acting & Visual Effects for my music/video projects.
