Employee Spotlight – Meghna Garg

This month’s employee spotlight is a special one for the Eclat family. She is a critical member of the family and as we get to know her, we will learn why she decided to become a member of the family after years of experiencing it from a different perspective.

This month we have the honor to present to you, Meghna Garg, Global Sales Support Manager!

How long have you been working at Eclat Engineering?

M: I have been happily contributing to the Eclat family since 2017, almost 5 years now.

What brought you to Eclat Engineering?

M: Before moving to Eclat 4 years ago, I was working for a channel partner and handling RemoteXs sales. While working with the RemoteXs team, I really enjoyed bonding with the team members, the small family-like culture, and a lot of learning opportunities that were present.

What does your job entail?

M: I am currently working as the Sales Support Manager responsible for Global renewal sales for both our offerings – RemoteXs and MyLOFT. In addition, I need to coordinate with relevant stakeholders (within Eclat and at the Customer/Publisher/Channel Partner end) to ensure timely completion of product setup, implementation, payment recovery, and resolution of any issues.

What do you like most about your job?

M: In my job, I really enjoy developing customer relations and interacting with stakeholders from across the globe. Additionally, in this role, I am uniquely positioned to have a view into most of the departments involved with RemoteXs and MyLOFT which further helps in maintaining/improving the customer relationships.

How has the experience been working remotely with the Eclat team?

M: I have been working remotely with the Eclat team since the beginning as I am based in Pune, India. However, working remotely has never felt much different from an office culture for me as I am regularly interacting with the core key stakeholders, both internal and external teams.

What is the best career lesson you´ve learned so far?

M: I think the best career lesson I am still learning is that in order to grow, delegation is crucial as it helps manage workload and develop team members’ skills.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

M: When I am not working I like to spend time with my family & dear ones, go shopping, watch OTT shows and movies, cook new cuisines, and travel (when possible).

What are your thoughts on the products that Eclat offers?

M: Eclat’s offerings of RemoteXs and MyLOFT in my viewpoint are some really well-developed products that solve major challenges in regards to eResources that are faced by the libraries and the end-users. The products are lean, end users focussed and without any additional filler or unwanted distractions. While there is still a scope of improvement for the products to meet the latest evolving challenges; both the offerings provide substantial benefits to both libraries and end-users.
