How long have you been working at Eclat Engineering?
I have been working with Eclat Engineering Pvt since 2018.
What does your job entail?
Promoting the company’s existing brands (RemoteXs and MyLOFT) and introducing them to new markets. Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding customer requirements, market trends and suggesting improvements to achieve the company’s goals, implementing new sales plans, maintaining relationships with customers by doing regular visits, understanding their needs and anticipating new market opportunities. Advising the company on the region’s needs and providing recommendations to the company.
What do you like most about your job?
Meeting my customers and providing them with the solution, adventuring in new markets.
What brought you to Eclat Engineering?
I was moved by the presentation that Jatin Sir did in the Georgia Republic during the EIFL AGM. The presentation was about RemoteXs Access platform that was going to change the consumption of eResources. Back in Kenya, most institutions were struggling to get discrete statistics from EZP and it would take them longer to get from publishers. In addition the ease of administering RemoteXs unlike EZP.
What is the best career lesson you´ve learned so far?
With a good product, you will transform the lives of your community.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
Driving around with my family.
What do you like the most about Eclat?
A well organized company with respect for its employees.
How has the experience been working remotely with the Eclat team?
It’s now been 5 years and I visited our Head office recently for the first time. Working remotely with the support of the team members across the globe has been satisfying. Have never thought it would be so smooth to work remotely that too from a different country.
What are your thoughts on the products that Eclat offers?
The products are extremely good and timely for the market. They are more focused on the user. We are also ensuring customer Satisfaction.
