How to access a journal article?

Accessing a journal article is possible through various methods, including subscriptions, online databases, open-access journals, etc.

Mobile App

 

    • Click on eResources icon at the bottom of the screen.

    • Click on the eResources icon to open the list of eResources and select All Journals.

    • Select a journal from the list.

    • It opens the publisher link in the in-app browser. Select the article of your choice from the publisher’s site. Kindly click on the I Know button after reading the alert displayed on the screen.

    • To save the PDF article, open the article and find the download option on the publisher’s site.

    • The message PDF Downloaded Successfully will show on the blank screen.

    • To save the abstract and other details as HTML, click the tip Save this Article in Collection or the Save  option on the bottom right of the in-app viewer.

 

Web App

 

    • Click on the eResources from the sidebar of the WebApp to expand the list. Select All Journals from the expanded list.

    • Select a journal from the list.

    • It will take you to the publisher’s site.

    • Select the article of your choice from the list of articles that appear.

    • Save the article details as HTML by clicking on the Browser Extension on the publisher’s site. You may open the article in PDF and click on Save to save the article on your device. 

Note: The option of downloading PDFs may vary from publisher to publisher.
